Our take on Dark Hours
The focus on cooperative survival and repeated heists comes at the expense of a straightforward power fantasy. Progress depends on managing danger, stealth, puzzles, and group decisions, while the horror setup keeps the player under pressure rather than offering constant control.
What is Dark Hours?
Dark Hours is a cooperative survival horror game for one to four players.
A robbery goes wrong when a supernatural force traps the crew inside the target building, turning the heist into a fight to escape. Players can explore five locations, including a museum, casino, power plant, auction house, and cruise ship. More than 50 tools support tasks such as hacking, scanning, surveillance, teleportation, and disabling threats. Missions include taking artifacts, destroying evidence, demolishing the building, and escaping with stolen valuables.
Eight monsters have distinct abilities, strengths, and weaknesses. Teams solve puzzles, complete minigames, manage security systems, and decide whether to share or take loot. Three factions, over 50 gear items, 100 customization items, and four difficulty levels provide progression and variation.
