Our take on Chased by Darkness
The defining structure is survival horror built around banishing supernatural enemies, with missions playable alone or cooperatively for groups of two to four players.
What is Chased by Darkness?
Chased by Darkness is a survival-horror title for one to four participants.
Players investigate different environments, battle entities from the spirit world, and perform ceremonies intended to send them back. Alone, one player manages all responsibilities; in multiplayer, two to four people cooperate against the supernatural danger. Advancing through the level system opens further characters and guns, and every map has its own mechanics. Insane difficulty features enemies that move faster and attack more aggressively. Planned complimentary additions are expected to bring extra maps, enemy varieties, and alternative ways to play. Bright, flashing visual effects could trigger seizures or other reactions in people sensitive to light, so player discretion is advised.

Abyssus also supports multiplayer shooting with friends, but places its combat in hand-crafted levels within a roguelite adventure and lets players modify brine-powered weapons with ancient technologies. Chased by Darkness instead focuses on survival horror, map-specific mechanics, escalating supernatural enemies, and spirit banishments.
