Our take on Sinister Halloween
The defining format is a Halloween horror journey split between a 9-map solo story and 8 survival maps, with both standard mouse-and-keyboard play and interactive VR available.
What is Sinister Halloween?
Set in the mountain peaks of Northern Canada during Halloween, this horror title offers a solo narrative campaign across 9 maps, where the celebration becomes threatening.
A separate survival mode provides 8 additional maps centered on reaching the finish while defeating attackers. Play is available with mouse and keyboard or through interactive VR, which uses real-world physical movements. VR travel includes both walking and teleporting. Threats range from werewolves, ghosts, mummies, and a chainsaw-wielding butcher to haunted trees and the Soul Reaper. Available items include handguns, shotguns, a torch, a cross, written clues, printed reports, and books about spirits.

Sinister Halloween compared to similar games
Sinister Halloween combines a 9-map single-player horror campaign with 8 survival maps and VR mechanics. Unplagued instead supports teams of up to 4 companions, uses procedurally generated medieval villages, and centers on collecting ingredients while purging a plague.
