Our take on Guts and Glory
The bounce point is the collision system: players expecting precise racing can lose control when vehicles take damage, riders ragdoll, and hazards turn a clean run into a failed attempt. The gore settings may also stop players who do not want dismemberment or blood.
What is Guts and Glory?
Guts and Glory is a physics-based racing game built around reaching the finish while avoiding hazards such as saws, spikes, explosives, turrets, and other obstacles.
It includes more than 70 official tracks, eight vehicles with dynamic damage, ragdoll riders, destructible objects, AI traffic, and over 40 hazards and special items. Players can eject drivers manually and adjust controls and other settings. An in-game editor provides more than 500 items and variations for building custom challenges, which can be uploaded to Steam Workshop. Workshop subscriptions add community tracks to the in-game list. The game also includes a trophy room, more than 30 original soundtracks, and an option to adjust blood and gore.
