Our take on Golem Gates
The defining format is real-time combat shaped by a randomized draw from a deck of Glyphs, which can be deployed where forces are already present.
What is Golem Gates?
Golem Gates combines real-time strategy with card-based deckbuilding.
Players collect Glyphs for units, buildings, traps, buffs, debuffs, and technology, then draw and play them during battles. Glyphs can be deployed in areas where forces are already present, letting players reinforce a fight, establish defenses, or expand a scouting party. The randomized draw changes which options are available in each match. There are no production or research buildings, and resources are captured in King of the Hill-style play without dedicated gathering units. Modes include a single-player campaign, solo challenges, Survival for one player or co-op, and local matches against bots or online matches against other players. The story follows the Harbinger, who commands nanites and confronts ancient warrior machines.
