Our take on Garbage
The pre-fight combat design gives preparation and team composition more weight, but removes direct control from the battles themselves. Survival also requires attention across construction, workers, resources, weather, personal care, and exploration rather than a single focused system.
What is Garbage?
Garbage combines automatic fighting with camp management and construction.
Preparations happen before each fight, with hundreds of skills to combine into coordinated teams. The camp includes buildings, upgrades, workers, and needs such as food, hygiene, training, and warmth. Weather changes with day, night, and seasons, affecting survival. An inventory contains hundreds of items for equipping, crafting, consuming, and trading. The city has 5 districts and over 30 areas to explore, alongside gangs, arenas, legal and illegal events, story choices, and randomly generated encounters. Hand-drawn comics, unusual character voices, music, and a grim city setting frame the survival systems.
