What is Ground of Aces?
Ground of Aces puts players in control of an isolated World War II airfield.
Its management combines base construction, aircraft oversight, crew welfare, mission planning, and protection from aerial attacks. Players design the installation by arranging walls, buildings, and other facilities, while providing suitable support for aircraft of varying sizes and requirements. Each pilot and crew member has a distinct character and personal narrative, and their physical and psychological condition influences their ability to carry out assigned work. Pilots are dispatched on perilous wartime sorties. All of this takes place at the airfield, the hub for its personnel and planes, and is presented with visuals modeled on Franco-Belgian comics.
