Two campaigns, multiple difficulty levels, and Modern or Classic gameplay modes shape the main experience. A free camera and tactical map support battlefield planning, while Wanzers and pilots can be customized. The Mercenaries update adds six single-player scenarios, six maps, 15 playable characters, a commander, and local multiplayer for two controllers or hot-seat play. The soundtrack can use either new arrangements or the original versions.
