Play it if you…

Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a solo campaign may hit a wall at the online-only team modes.
- Players who want a fixed mission sequence may find the progression-based objective changes and match variation a poor fit.
- Players looking for a primarily story-driven experience may not want story sequences tied to playing Dino Survival.
Our take on Exoprimal
The clearest sticking point is the online-only team structure: anyone expecting to start a solo campaign will meet that limit before the suit roles or dinosaur encounters matter. The match loop also centers on competing or cooperating squads completing objectives, rather than a fixed sequence of missions.
What is Exoprimal?
Exoprimal is an online team action game in which squads use powered exosuits to fight dinosaur swarms.
Exosuits fill assault, tank, or support roles, and players can switch suits during battle to adjust their team’s lineup. Each suit can equip one rig for an additional ability, and both suits and rigs can be changed during play. In Dino Survival, two teams of five race to complete objectives. Some missions set the squads against each other, while others bring them together against a major enemy. Missions vary with player progression, and matches can differ even when locations and objectives recur. Playing Dino Survival also unlocks story sequences and earns experience for player and exosuit levels.
How Exoprimal plays
- 01Three Suit Roles
- Assault suits deal damage, tanks draw attacks and absorb harm, and support suits provide repairs or other team abilities.
- 02Mid-Battle Switching
- Players can change both their exosuit and its rig during combat to adjust their setup.
- 03Changing Match Objectives
- Dino Survival missions vary with progression, and some pit squads against each other while others unite them against a major foe.
- 04Progression Rewards
- Dino Survival matches grant experience for player and exosuit levels and can unlock story sequences.
