Our take on ExoCorps
Instead of grounding arena combat in infantry movement, ExoCorps centers it on powered flight, heat control, and aerial detection. Its hide-and-seek emphasis adds evasion and weapon-countering to the usual direct exchanges of a deathmatch shooter.
What is ExoCorps?
ExoCorps is a multiplayer arena shooter built around fast aerial combat in jetpack-powered exosuits.
Matches include Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Capture the Flag across five arenas inspired by Earth, the Moon, and Mars. Combat combines weapon switching with heat management: players can use a Multirifle with six firing modes, launch lock-on missile swarms, and counter incoming missiles with flares. The arsenal also includes an Autocannon, Minigun, Laser, Railgun, and Plasma Rifle. Online and offline play are available, with or without bots. The game also supports player-hosted, dedicated, peer-to-peer, and LAN servers, plus armor-skin customization and a screenshot mode.
How ExoCorps plays
- 01Heat-based evasion
- Keeping the exosuit cool can reduce the chance of being locked onto by opponents.
- 02Multifunction rifle
- The Multirifle offers six firing modes, alongside separate weapons for close-range fire, bombardment, and long-distance attacks.
- 03Bot matches
- Bots can fill out games in both online and offline play.
- 04Multiple hosting options
- Matches can run on dedicated or player-hosted servers, through peer-to-peer connections, or over LAN.
