Our take on Entodrive
Monster-taming RPGs commonly center on collecting creatures and battling with them; Entodrive places that structure inside a story about an augmented-reality game whose bugs begin affecting the real world. Island incidents and a corporate raid give the creature encounters a developer-and-outbreak premise.
What is Entodrive?
Entodrive is a monster-taming RPG set on Cache Isle, where magical computer bugs can be collected and added to a crew.
Play as one of the developers of Entodrive AR, a game created to turn a computer-virus outbreak into a game. When the creatures begin attacking and possessing real-world objects, the developer’s partner, Max Jai, calls for help. Explore the island, respond to Entodrive-related incidents, and work to stop the Forever Corporation’s raid.
Battles use turn-based combat and include encounters with randomized NPC opponents across five level tiers: 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60. Ability stones upgrade monsters, while NPC trades and bartering provide different items. After the main adventure, a post-game mining activity lets players use a pickaxe to find items.
