Our take on End State
Its defining detail is the reaction system: when an enemy enters view, the encounter can trigger a mutual shooting test that turns movement into an unfolding firefight.
What is End State?
Manage an international mercenary company tracking terrorists in Brekovia, a war-torn country contested by rebel groups, criminal organizations, and private security forces.
Use a strategic satellite map to hire operatives, buy equipment, develop skills, follow leads, and select missions. Exploration includes enemy patrols, roadblocks, and faction encounters. Missions shift to turn-based tactical battles in which soldiers act with action points and interruptions. Available approaches include stealth, coordinated assaults, sniper positions, and explosive entries using C-4. Combat spaces contain cover, windows, corners, and destructible objects. Bullets travel through the scene and interact with walls and other materials according to penetration and resistance. End State is in Early Access and remains under development.
