What is Computer Tycoon?
Run a computer manufacturer from the 70s through 2034 in a hybrid of grand strategy and business management.
Research hardware and software, design home, personal, portable, and handheld computers, and balance computing capacity, features, price, and prestige. Manage infrastructure, production, marketing, budgets, managers, and expert teams while expanding offices, factories, laboratories, and other facilities across countries. A world map supports market and resource decisions, while rival products and prices compete with company offerings. Choose Historical, Randomized, or Vanilla map modes. Victory can come through becoming a monopoly or reaching the technological singularity. The game is in an alpha state with bugs and missing or simplified features.
