Our take on QANGA
QANGA trades polish and completion for a broad space sandbox. Its Early Access status means the large travel, combat, construction, and multiplayer framework comes with bugs and features that remain in progress.
What is QANGA?
QANGA is an Early Access space sandbox set 750 years after humanity’s fall.
Players control a cryogenically frozen human synchronized with a cyborg, travelling across Earth and the solar system to collect items, complete contracts, and survive hostile environments. The game includes combat on foot and with vehicles, trading, gear upgrades, base construction, and exploration across planets, moons, orbital stations, and asteroid regions. Players can travel between locations, land on planetary surfaces, operate Refuel Towers, and choose objectives such as trading, hunting enemies, or exploring. Solo play, multiplayer, custom servers, and alternate game modes are available. The game is still in development, with bugs and unfinished features expected.
How QANGA plays
- 01Solar System Travel
- Players can fly between planets and land across locations including Mars, Venus, the Moon, Jupiter, Saturn, orbital stations, and asteroid areas.
- 02Contracts And Missions
- Objectives include retrieving packages, eliminating Sanglines, finding hidden zones, and destroying rogue cyborgs.
- 03Base Construction
- Players can establish bases on planetary surfaces throughout the universe.
- 04Vehicle Exploration
- Playable vehicles include anti-gravity machines, flying ships, and aquatic craft.
- 05Custom Servers
- Players can host servers, establish their own rules, and create alternate game modes.
- 06Refuel Tower Hubs
- Earth-based towers provide places to refuel, accept contracts, sell collected items, and interact with other players.
QANGA compared to similar games
QANGA focuses on travelling through a solar system with planetary exploration, vehicles, combat, trading, base construction, solo play, and custom multiplayer servers. Mr. Prepper centers on preparing an underground shelter under an authoritarian government, while Force of Nature covers resource gathering, crafting, exploration across more than 10 zones, and management in a sandbox setting. QANGA therefore places its survival and construction systems within a space-travel and multiplayer framework rather than a single shelter or zone-based world.
