What is Star Rangers™ XE?
Star Rangers XE is an early-access space exploration and construction game set across a sandbox version of the local solar system.
Players take the role of astronaut recruits, build habitats and spacecraft, acquire equipment, and explore other worlds. The game focuses on surviving and developing settlements beyond Earth, with multiplayer support and an intended gun-free approach. The first alpha includes approximately 6 maps, including locations on Mars, the Moon, and Europa, plus test maps such as a VR environment. Community participation influences development priorities, including possible emphasis on asteroid mining or Mars colonization. Planned user-content work includes custom uniform textures, player-written notes, and shared story maps.
