What is Stellar Echoes?
Stellar Echoes is an early-access beta with a spaceship and a destination planet serving as the setting for a straightforward mission.
The current build demonstrates spaceship assembly, materials, lighting, and related visual and performance features using HDRP. It also examines the frame-rate ceiling in a basic planet mission. SteamVR needs to use OpenXR. The developer says HDRP game data was lost in July 2023 and cannot be recovered, so this edition will receive no further updates. More development time is going toward remastering the game, and compatibility problems are possible; buyers are advised to proceed cautiously.
