Our take on Destructivator 2
Rather than keeping a platform shooter’s combat on foot, the game also lets the soldier take control of enemy ships for aerial attacks. Its 54-level campaign pairs that vehicle combat with bosses, mini-bosses, and large groups of enemies.
What is Destructivator 2?
This platform shooter sends a small soldier against alien forces across 54 levels.
Fight on foot using guns and instant melee attacks, or take control of enemy ships and attack from the air. Enemies include soldiers, robots, turrets, tanks, spacecraft, spiders, and centipedes. Bosses and mini-boss encounters appear throughout the campaign, alongside traps and large groups of enemies. Three difficulty settings—Easy, Normal, and Brutal—offer different challenge levels. The game uses small characters against large screen areas and colorful graphics to evoke an old-school arcade style. Its campaign combines platform shooting with vehicle combat rather than keeping the action entirely on foot.
