The match format keeps each contest brief, but it leaves little room for a long-form campaign: the listed single-player content consists of 60 challenges rather than a campaign narrative.
What is Demeo Battles?
Demeo Battles is a turn-based PvP strategy game for 1v1 and 2v2 matches.
Each player brings two champions and an army of minions to grid-based arenas, where rising lava harms units caught in its path. At the start of each match, coins can be spent to build a loadout from a changing pool of cards and creatures. The game has seven champion classes, 89 cards, and 37 creatures in its launch rotation. Battles take place across 10 competitive maps, with ranked play organized into month-long seasons. There are also 60 single-player challenges. Matches average just under 20 minutes, and cross-play links flatscreen PC play with compatible VR headsets.
