Our take on Rage of the Dragons NEO
The store emphasis on refined combat, classic arcade heritage, and distinctive fighters gives less attention to the game's narrow fighting-game structure. Its main activities remain matches, training, and related modes rather than a broader adventure or role-playing campaign.
What is Rage of the Dragons NEO?
Fight in 2D tag-team matches using two selected characters, controlling one at a time and switching between them during combat.
Both fighters can also combine for special attacks. The game includes an arcade route against successive opponents, versus matches, training, and a new Dragon Challenge mode. Online play supports ranked and casual matches, an eight-player lobby, replay takeovers, and rollback netcode across online modes. A jukebox lets players select menu music. The roster includes fighters with distinct styles, abilities, and stories, including traditional and supernatural characters. Classic mode offers more than 80 team combinations. Rage of the Dragons NEO is the PC edition of the 2002 arcade fighting game.
