Our take on Hannah
Players who need a direct, fully explained story may hit a wall as the narrative unfolds through objects and fragments of memory. Those expecting choices to affect only dialogue may also be surprised when decisions change the environment and shape the ending.
What is Hannah?
Hannah is a 3D puzzle-platformer set in a VHS-styled dreamworld inspired by 1980s horror and childhood memories.
After losing her favorite doll, Hannah explores places shaped by her mind, finds objects and clues connected to her past, and solves puzzles to move forward. Choices alter the environment and influence which ending unfolds. The game combines platforming, environmental exploration, puzzles, and an interpretive story about childhood trauma and broken memories. Its soundtrack and sound effects were created for the game, accompanying settings that range from narrow paths to expansive surreal landscapes.
