Our take on PATIENT
Players who need immediate answers may bounce off when the escape opens into a chain of questions about the orderly, the confinement, and the protagonist’s missing memories. The game makes investigation and puzzle-solving the route forward rather than providing early explanations.
What is PATIENT?
This point-and-click adventure follows a patient who escapes a psychiatric clinic with help from an orderly.
The protagonist has no memory of the past and must investigate why he was confined, who assisted the escape, and what events were forgotten. Progress involves solving puzzles, opening secured areas, speaking with reclusive characters, avoiding guards, and lifting a curse. The game presents an unwelcoming setting rather than a heroic role, with the central story built around unanswered questions about identity, memory, and responsibility. Easter eggs and references appear during the investigation.
