Our take on Deadlight: Director's Cut
Scarce ammunition and weapons make avoidance a central choice: zombie encounters can become fights, but the environment also provides routes for hiding and slipping past the threat.
What is Deadlight: Director's Cut?
Set in an apocalyptic 1986, Deadlight: Director's Cut follows Randall Wayne as he searches the ruined streets of Seattle for his family.
The game combines tense 2D platforming with environmental puzzles, hazards, stealth, and fights against zombies. Scarce ammunition, weapons, and other resources create choices between confronting enemies and moving around them. The campaign explores the remains of human civilization and Randall’s search for his loved ones. Survival Arena adds endless zombie waves, interactive defences, additional weapons, and online leaderboards. The Director’s Cut also includes 1080p presentation, revised controls, new animations, developer diaries, and an in-game digital art book.

Deadlight: Director's Cut compared to similar games
