Our take on DAMAGE CONTROL
Rather than centering on exploration or combat, the game puts crisis response aboard a damaged ship at the center. Its structure asks players to allocate engineers and tools among urgent repairs, with campaign jobs and corporate competition framing that work.
What is DAMAGE CONTROL?
Damage Control is an action and simulation game about managing engineers aboard a damaged spaceship.
Assign crew members tools and direct them through the ship to handle hull breaches, oxygen problems, radiation, fires, and crew injuries. Decide which emergencies to address first while tools lose charge and multiple routes lead to objectives. The available content includes a basic campaign, a freeplay mode, and 7 levels. Campaign play involves taking jobs around the galaxy to earn funding and acquire competing corporations. The game is described as being in an alpha state, with bugs and some features not yet implemented. Its current systems include saving and loading, music, sound effects, particles, and lighting.
