Our take on Paranormal

The currently described experience is more narrowly centered on camera-based haunting events, house exploration, journals, and multiple endings.
What is Paranormal?
Paranormal follows Mattel Clarke, an artist who records supernatural events inside his haunted house.
The game uses the camera as the first-person viewpoint, with camera shake, visual distortion, audio distortion, and motion blur. Hauntings use randomized events, triggers, variables, and reactions, creating different sequences and outcomes. Players can use the camera light to illuminate nearby areas and sleep in bed to recharge its batteries, with sleep also able to trigger events.
The house’s history unfolds through hauntings, journal entries from its former owner, and other story elements. The game includes multiple endings, Steam Trading Cards, and versions for PC and Mac. Planned features include achievements, full controller support, virtual reality support, cloud saves, translations, persistent scoring, and an Unreal Engine 4 remake.
