Our take on Cryptical Path
Rather than treating dungeon randomness as the main structure of a roguelite, the game gives room selection and layout control to the player. That shifts part of each run from adapting to generated rooms toward constructing a route through the labyrinth.
What is Cryptical Path?
Cryptical Path is an action roguelite in which players take the role of the Architect and shape the dungeon they explore.
Instead of leaving room selection to random generation, players choose rooms and arrange a path through the Hexium, a prison created by the Architect to contain malevolent souls. The game presents this exploration as a 3D side-scroller, with fast-paced combat built around dodging, dashing, and slashing. Runs take place in an ever-changing labyrinth, while room building gives players control over its layout. Progression includes unlocking items and selecting talents to master. The setting follows the Architect as they navigate the prison and uncover its mysteries.
