Our take on Citrouille: Sweet Witches
The defining constraint is the absence of jumping: progress depends on placing magic ladders while handling spells, weapons and enemies. That movement rule shapes both the 50+ story levels and the shared-screen competitive arenas.
What is Citrouille: Sweet Witches?
Citrouille: Sweet Witches is an arcade platform game about witches chasing candy across more than 50 story stages in over five worlds.
Jumping is unavailable, so magic ladders, spells, and power-ups are used to move through each level. In solo story mode, choose Praline or Vanille; cooperative play puts two people on a shared screen, with both sharing one life counter. Four witches have individual spells, and surprise gifts provide weapons. Versus play accommodates two to four participants in five arenas, with death match and time-limit options.
In death match, the last player remaining wins. In the timed mode, victory goes to whoever has the greatest number of flowers visible when the clock runs out. Flowers spread across the ground and build power.
How Citrouille: Sweet Witches plays

- 02Shared-Screen Modes
- Story mode supports two-player cooperation, while versus matches accommodate 2–4 players.
- 03Flower Coverage
- Spreading flowers across the ground contributes to victory and fills power.
- 04Multiple Match Rules
- Versus play includes last-survivor death matches and timed contests based on flowers shown.
