Our take on Central Intelligence
Instead of centering strategy on territory, armies, or resource production, the game makes political influence and covert interference its main structure. Military action is one of three branches, while factions can be influenced without knowing who is directing events.
What is Central Intelligence?
Play as a CIA chief tasked with restoring democracy on Sao Madrigal, an island ruled by a dictatorship backed by China.
Direct agents across political, propaganda, and military branches while supporting factions such as students, guerrillas, and political parties. Operations can involve bribery, covert manipulation, assassinations, blackmail, and other forms of subterfuge. The game focuses on espionage and undercover activity rather than leading a straightforward military revolt. Decisions may trigger connected events that produce unintended consequences, and operations take place across a large theater. Objectives are pursued by coordinating different branches and influencing opposition groups, sometimes without those groups knowing about the intervention.
How Central Intelligence plays
- 01Three Agent Branches
- Personnel are organized into political, propaganda, and military divisions for different kinds of operations.

- 03Covert Operations

- 04Consequential Decisions
