Our take on Blue Hunter
The bounce point arrives when progression asks for both stat allocation and sacrifices. Players who want a straightforward upgrade path may find the build decisions and associated costs restrictive before the monster-card army becomes the main draw.
What is Blue Hunter?
Blue Hunter combines roguelike progression, deckbuilding, strategy, and RPG systems.
Players take the role of a hunter, fight monsters, revive defeated enemies, and use them as cards in an undead army. Each level grants a choice of stats, allowing different character builds. Sacrifices can also be made to increase strength. The deck changes according to the monsters revived during play, so each army is formed through the battles fought. The objective is to defeat the gods encountered along the way and become a god. Its structure centers on repeated combat decisions, character development, sacrifices, and assembling a creature-based deck.
