What is Dungeon: Faster & Deadlier?
This single-player game combines card play, board-style exploration, and turn-based gameplay.
Lead a chosen hero through a world of tiles, selecting routes and using map knowledge to locate enemies, secret areas, campsites, merchants, and treasure. Cards can be used normally, sacrificed for resources, or changed with Cultic Items. The deck can be rebuilt during a run, including before entering the next room. Items found in rooms may be left in place and collected in a selected order to activate combinations and gain extra items.
Five heroes have different strengths and weaknesses, plus an active skill, passive skill, and special card. Gems and loot upgrade heroes and cards, while card leveling requires a lab on the map. Progress depends on experimentation, an in-game encyclopedia, and right-click information rather than a tutorial.
