Our take on Bird of Light
Instead of treating platforming as a fixed route, Bird of Light makes route creation part of the play. Bridge placement comes before movement, so planning the path and executing it become connected stages of each level.
What is Bird of Light?
Bird of Light combines action-strategy platforming with path construction.
Players place bridge tiles to form routes through airborne levels, then move across them while avoiding hazards and jumping over large gaps. The game includes 21 handcrafted levels, each with three missions and two leaderboards. Multiple solutions and branching routes support different approaches. Tara’s search for the truth is presented through interactive story scenes that become available during progression. New abilities and mechanics include leaping, teleportation, and moving pickups. A map-like pause screen shows possible routes, while the game’s difficulty is intended to accommodate different skill levels. Loot collection and discovering new lands are also part of the journey.
