Bang Average Football combines top-down arcade matches with single-player club management, local co-op, and PvP for 1–4 players.
In Story mode, a player-manager guides an underdog team through promotions while handling transfers, stadium upgrades, sponsorships, fan engagement, quests, and training drills. Tournament mode allows custom combinations of groups, divisions, and knockout rounds. Players can choose from 25 teams and more than 1,000 male and female players, or create their own teams, leagues, tournaments, and player databases. Steam Workshop supports sharing and downloading custom content. Matches use simple controls, tactical options, custom formations, and team instructions, while replays can be exported as GIFs.
