Our take on Astrox Imperium
Progression pace is adjustable through sandbox settings: the universe can be set for extended advancement or quicker access to the game's mechanics.
What is Astrox Imperium?
Astrox Imperium is a single-player, open-world space game in a generated universe.
Players can mine 12 types of resources, refine materials, craft items, trade in a simulated economy, and take randomly generated contracts. Some contracts involve combat with raiders, pirates, or other non-player characters. Exploration covers more than 100 maps with distinct resources, stations, structures, and secrets. The game includes 18 factions, over 70 ships, 10 drones, and more than 100 skills. Players can build fleets of up to 10 mercenary ships, construct stations, and manage life-support systems. Sandbox settings let players adjust the universe and pace of progression. Ships can be flown with a mouse, WASD, or point-and-click controls; the game has no controller support and is not multiplayer.
