Our take on Aarklash: Legacy
Rather than separating exploration and combat into unrelated modes, the game ties party relationships, loot, skill changes, and tactical encounters to one continuing mercenary campaign. Its active pause system also places real-time control around a strategy-focused battle structure.
What is Aarklash: Legacy?
Command a mercenary group accused of crimes against the Lion of Alahan as it travels across Aarklash in search of truth.
The campaign combines story-driven adventure with tactical combat against hostile groups, each using their own skills. An active pause system allows tactics to be selected during battles. The party can be rebuilt at any point by choosing 4 characters from a roster of 8. Heroes gain powers through loot, skill-tree choices, and coordinated group abilities; skill trees can be reset. Relationships between the characters develop during the journey, which crosses Alahan, Acheron, and the Behemoth.
