Our take on A Game of Thrones: The Board Game - Digital Edition
The defining structure is a 10-round struggle in which every army receives a secretly assigned order each round, making diplomacy part of the turn-by-turn contest for territory.
What is A Game of Thrones: The Board Game - Digital Edition?
This digital adaptation of a strategy board game casts players as Great Houses competing for the Iron Throne.
Over 10 rounds, players use diplomacy and warfare to control strategic areas of the map. Each round, they secretly assign an order token to each army, choosing actions that can include offering support or peace, forming alliances, and betraying rivals. Scarce resources and troops make army deployment and order choices consequential.
Players can contest three influence tracks by betting power tokens to gain the Iron Throne, Messenger Raven, and Valyrian steel tokens, which provide strategic and social advantages. Houses must also cooperate to gather power tokens for the Night’s Watch as wildlings threaten to attack. The game supports up to six players online or one player locally against up to five AI opponents.
