Our take on ZANGEKI WARP
The warp system gives the game a distinct way to handle hazards, but it also makes movement and attack timing central to play. That focus leaves less room for exploration, character development, or systems outside the shooting-stage format.
What is ZANGEKI WARP?
Pilot the ZanFighter against space beasts released by the scientist Doctor Benomiya in a side-scrolling action shooting game.
Its warp functions stop time and move the craft through enemy bullets, physical obstacles, and designated coordinates. Warp Slash damages enemies along the route, while Dimensional Shockwave attacks foes at the destination. A Decoy leaves a holographic fighter at the starting point to draw enemy fire. The Magno-Electric Shield absorbs one attack after charging, and Omega Crash releases stored energy when the shield deactivates. The story takes place in 2054, with the ZanFighter sent to Benomiya’s fortress to stop the BEM threat.
