Our take on Galactic Storm
Rather than using a character-focused action structure, the game centers each session on a ship navigating four fixed levels. Progression depends on achieving a high enough score in the previous stage, while dash movement and a rechargeable shield shape how incoming fire is handled.
What is Galactic Storm?
Galactic Storm is a top-down shoot-'em-up with four levels, boss battles, powerups, and fast action.
Access to later levels depends on passing the previous stage with a high enough score. The ship uses laser, projectile, and bouncy weapons, each with several upgrades, and continuously fires homing rockets. Mines damage enemies within an explosion radius, while special skills provide additional attacks. Energy cells dropped by defeated enemies charge a shield that blocks enemy bullets but not collisions with enemy ships. A dash lets the ship cross horizontal distances quickly. Mouse, keyboard, and gamepad controls are available, with mouse input offering precision when avoiding projectiles.
