What is You are Peter Shorts?
Peter Shorts follows a captured character attempting to escape a secret cloning facility with newly created allies.
The main adventure combines facility exploration with beat-em-up combat. Players defeat rogue Peter clones and can let BUG take them to safety. A second player may join as BUG, who uses egg bombs and captures enemies. Defeating boss versions of Peter enables transformations before the confrontation with the scientist responsible for the experiments. Combat uses two buttons alongside guarding, parrying, and air dodging. A versus mode features 25 playable Peters. The built-in randomizer becomes available after all diskettes are collected. The soundtrack uses 2A03 and FDS chiptune music.
