Our take on Space Cat
The focus on collection and changing asteroid terrain gives Space Cat several ways to play, but the broad mode mix leaves less emphasis on expanding one central platforming format.
What is Space Cat?
Space Cat is a 2D arcade-style platformer focused on collecting gems, coins, diamonds, and other loot while surviving asteroid terrain.
Missiles continually destroy parts of the terrain, while UFOs regenerate it. Players can adjust the difficulty by toggling individual hazards and character movement options. The game includes a side-scrolling, story-based Adventure Mode, a multiplayer Battle Mode, a time-trial Boss Rush mode, and multiplayer Minigames. Special coins unlock hats for the cat. These modes combine collection objectives with changing terrain, competitive play, timed boss encounters, and additional minigame challenges.
