The defining structure is its wave-based battles: selecting the right general and troop combination matters because one defeat can cost the entire team.
What is You... and who else??
This strategy game centers on recruiting leaders, developing their skills, and choosing which commander and units will face each enemy wave.
Leaders gain additional troop slots at levels 3 and 6, while awards can raise their abilities or grant experience. Each battle requires matching a general and troop selection to the opposing side, with defeat affecting the whole team. Enemy waves and monsters have different skills and behaviors, and the final wave grants the most experience. The game includes 20 leaders, up to 80 playable characters, more than 30 locations, items that affect strategy, four difficulty modes, and an end rating. Conquest Mode contains all achievements.
How You... and who else? plays
- 01Leader progression
- Generals receive third and fourth troop slots when they reach levels 3 and 6.
- 02Wave-based battles
- Each encounter pits a selected general and their units against successive enemy waves, with team defeat following a lost battle.
- 03Troop abilities
- Playable units use distinct traits such as counterattacks, pre-emptive hits, fire magic, taming, or multiple strikes.
- 04Multiple difficulty modes
- Four difficulty settings are available, followed by an end rating.
- 05World exploration
- The campaign includes more than 30 locations to visit while pursuing global conquest.
