Our take on Shadows and Lies
The defining structure is a five-character active party combined with selectable class paths and stat allocation, making party composition and character development central to the journey.
What is Shadows and Lies?
Shadows and Lies follows Eldan and Dathan on a search for Dathan’s two missing sisters after their mission goes wrong.
The journey involves the threatening Zerrlan sect, Virtran monasteries, uncertain alliances, and questions about identity and the past. An active party can contain up to five characters, with 12 side quests and 27 secret rooms to find. Skill orbs raise skill power, while character development includes class choices for two characters, class upgrades, stat allocation at each level, and quest-based bonuses after every three completed quests. Four difficulty settings are available: Easy, Normal, Hard, and Legendary. Enemy visibility can also be switched between visible and invisible. The game offers approximately 15 hours of gameplay.
