Our take on Inferno
Players who need a wide range of difficulty settings may hit a wall at the choice between just two modes. The group’s route through the jungle hinges on Josef figuring out a way forward, so players uninterested in a dialogue-led survival story may lose interest as the escape unfolds.
What is Inferno?
A soldier, scientist, and nurse rescue an unconscious elite warrior in a dangerous jungle, then set out to escape a ravaged army base.
Abandoned by their hierarchy, the group depends on Josef, an awkward companion whose ingenuity can help them find a route back to civilization. Monsters and harsh conditions stand in their way, while the rescued warrior’s past gradually emerges. The story unfolds through dialogue as the group searches for help and tries to survive. The game offers up to 8 hours of playtime, two difficulty modes, mouse controls, and autosaving. A guide sample is available for basic game knowledge.
