Our take on Tower Princess
The changing dungeons and mixed platforming and combat give each run a different route, but that structure trades away a fixed progression through the levels. The date objective also shares space with the dragon fight rather than leaving the game focused on combat alone.
What is Tower Princess?
Tower Princess is a 3D platformer with roguelite runs, dungeon combat, and a dating objective.
Players choose a knight, invite a rescued princess or prince, and travel through dungeons and traps that are procedurally generated for each run. The goal is to get through the dungeon, defeat the dragon, and manage a date. Combat offers a choice between a sword for close-range fighting and a rifle for attacks from a distance; weapons can be upgraded with extra abilities. The game combines platforming and combat with a light-hearted tone, while drawing inspiration from classic adventure games, 3D platformers, and the Dark Souls series. Its cheerful presentation does not mean the challenge is casual.
