What is Xuan-Yuan Sword: The Clouds Faraway?
Set during China’s Three Kingdoms period, this RPG follows Xu Muyun, a young man from Luoyang who grows up training with childhood friends Lan Yin and Zhang Gao.
He serves Wei and eventually faces Shu forces, including his separated brother, while the story examines the same wartime period from opposing viewpoints. Gameplay includes battles with attack and defense tactics, a system for identifying and collecting summoned creatures, and weapon crafting. The Steam edition contains the Lan Yin and Wuzhangyuan story expansions, including campaigns from both Muyun’s and Chaoyun’s perspectives. The included content adds new scenes, maps, characters, and abilities. The game is available only in Chinese and does not include dungeon functionality.
