Our take on Wraithbinder
Rather than resetting the character after each roguelike run, Wraithbinder carries armor, stats, and collected resources forward. Its ability choices also borrow from Metroidvania progression, turning newly found powers into keys for previously inaccessible areas.
What is Wraithbinder?
Wraithbinder is an action roguelike RPG built around randomly generated dungeon runs.
Each run combines weapons, abilities, and relics into a different build, with choices shaping the available play style. Abilities can open routes to previously unreachable areas, using progression inspired by Metroidvania games. Relics modify the character or enemies, and each discovery presents a selection. Death preserves armor and stats, while collected light, gold, and metal can be spent at the ship to permanently improve the character between runs. The current game supports offline solo play. The listed abilities and weapons include swords, axes, bows, boomerangs, grenades, bombs, teleportation, jumping, levitation, shields, necromancy, building, and telekinesis.
