Skip it if you…

- Solo players who want a game built around a purely single-player experience may not suit its co-op offering
Our take on Mistral
Players who struggle with fast combat are likely to bounce off during enemy encounters, while those wanting a fixed world may lose interest when exploration settings change between runs. The permanent progression system also makes each death part of the upgrade loop.
What is Mistral?
Mistral is a 3D action roguelike set in a fantasy world.
Each run involves exploring changing environments, choosing relics that improve the character, and using weapons and spells against enemies. Several combat approaches are available, with different weapons offering distinct ways to fight. A character upgrade system provides a broad selection of items and requires choices about how to prepare for each run. Death ends the current attempt but also opens permanent power increases for later runs. The game combines fast combat with challenging encounters and changing exploration settings. Co-op supports groups of up to 8 players, allowing runs to be played with friends or other participants.
