Our take on World to the West
The store copy foregrounds the large world, four heroes, and flexible encounters, but gives less weight to the game's puzzle-solving and exploration structure. The adventure is not presented as a combat-only experience: uncovering secrets and moving through varied regions are central parts of the journey.
What is World to the West?
World to the West is a 3D action-adventure game set in the Teslagrad universe.
Four playable characters—Lumina, Knaus, Miss Teri, and Lord Clonington—bring different abilities, identities, motivations, and connected storylines. The journey crosses corrupt colonies, jungles, frozen tundras, caves, and other parts of a world shaped by an ancient prophecy. Exploration reveals hidden information about a forgotten civilization, while encounters can be handled through direct combat, persuasion, or avoidance. Combat and puzzle solving are woven together during travel, with non-player characters pursuing their own agendas. The game is a standalone follow-up to Teslagrad and is available for Windows, Mac OSX, and Linux.
