Our take on Nursery Slime
The store presentation foregrounds a romance premise and several named systems, but gives little indication of how those systems work during play. The result is a clear setup and feature list without much sense of the RPG's moment-to-moment structure.
What is Nursery Slime?
Nursery Slime is a Japanese-style RPG about an adventurer whose livelihood has reached a dead end.
During a quest, he encounters a strange slime and takes it home. The slime transforms into a beautiful girl and falls in love with him, beginning a comic daily-life story about the adventurer and his new companion. Gameplay includes a transformation system and a system for training abilities. The game presents these mechanics within a romance-focused narrative and follows the protagonist's changing circumstances after he returns to his former business. It was developed by Doubles Core and published by OTAKU Plan.
