Our take on Water Planet
The presentation gives substantial attention to atmosphere, music, and broad exploration. The concrete progression described is narrower: collecting crystal shards, following guidance, reaching checkpoints, and traveling between ruins. That makes the experience read more as an exploratory narrative journey than a systems-heavy adventure.
What is Water Planet?
Explore a distant blue planet in a single-player first-person adventure available in desktop and VR modes.
Collect crystal shards and other resources to fuel an interstellar ship while Gemini, the onboard AI, provides guidance. The journey moves through submerged ruins, alien plant life, ocean depths, portals, and a hover vehicle linking the remains of a lost civilization. A cybernetic jellyfish named Aqua becomes part of the narrative after energy surges interrupt communication with Gemini. Music by VIRGO includes songs and an evolving score, with interactive elements during play. Level checkpoints allow resumed or revisited stages, while light spheres mark objectives. The game also includes 15 trading cards and badges linked to crystal-shard collection.
