Rather than using a conventional level-by-level adventure, this experience treats space travel as an open itinerary. Destination choice, observation points, probe encounters, and optional activities replace a tightly scripted campaign, making sightseeing and movement the central structure.
What is Spacetours VR - Ep1 The Solar System?
SPACETOURS VR: EP1 The Solar System presents a virtual-reality tour across the eight planets, with destinations selected in a non-linear structure.
Players travel from a personal platform or capsule, encounter probes associated with each planet, and visit locations including Earth orbit, Mars, Saturn, Jupiter, Mercury, Venus, Neptune, and Uranus. Interactive elements include vista points around the International Space Station, a beam used during certain encounters, and optional entertainment activities. The experience supports motion controllers and provides separate formats for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. Planet visuals were built from hundreds of NASA and ESA images using Unreal Engine.
