Our take on Voidsayer
Its defining structure is the combination of monster progression with expeditions where procedural events can injure a carefully prepared team or impose severe consequences.
What is Voidsayer?
Voidsayer is a dark, turn-based jRPG about taming monsters in a world consumed by the Abyss.
Players assemble a team from over one hundred monster types, develop them through gear and upgrades, and evolve them into stronger forms. Battles use attack moves, passive abilities, effects, and elemental matchups that influence damage and the flow of combat. Expeditions cross procedurally generated maps containing encounters, battles, random events, injuries, and other risks. Each run can alter the team’s condition and available choices. Dedicated levels lead to bosses with distinct challenges that can change familiar combat rules. Materials recovered from expeditions can be used to improve a settlement, expanding building functions and access to additional ways to confront the Abyss.
How Voidsayer plays

- 05Upgradeable Settlement
